this means that if something happened and somebody was to retaliate then most likely everything would go wrong.Meaning if everybody says that if he shoot me im gone shoot him eventually everyone will be hurt or dead.
This matters because the way that things are done or handle in life are not turning out so well. We might be in the wrong situation at the wrong time and then the out come of the situation might not go to well such as the saying an eye for an eye and the whole world would be blind, people take that in different ways and different understandings. I can tie this quote into real life by saying that this quote is only good if the way you put it is good or its brought into a good situation.
It says that it's not OK to go back and forth. It means that it's no reason to fight. If we fight there will be no one left in the world. You can apply this to your life by solving problems differently .If you go bask and fourth with someone nothing will get solved.
