Locke 3 Scholars,
Over the next few weeks, we are going to take an indepth look at success and what it takes to be successful. We will be focusing on careers, choices and options.
Most of what we do in class this week will be centered around the questions of "What is success, what does it look like, and what do I need to do to be successful right now and in the future"?

This says that if you try your best and believe that you can do something that you will be able to do it.

This quote matters because,the fact of putting your mind into something and achieving it is a good/great thing.This can be tied to real life because, if you did or tried yo best to do something then you can do it. Another thing is that what ever you put your mind to and want, you can achieve and your are capable of achieving.

Also,you need to show the best of you. 3)It matters to me because sometimes say to my self that we all need to have success. Then i say but why, but know i know why because you nee to have success in order to be someone in life. also, you need to show people that you are the best in what you do.

3.It matters because being successful can lead you to a better life in the future.Success comes from hard work and trying to do your best to accomplish what you want to do,and at the end you will have what you wanted to do.You would be a better person.This quote applies to my life because if I succeed I will accomplish all my dreams and my future would be as how I wanted it to be. 3.It matters because you cant do every thing in life by yourself.Sometimes you need help.Its good to have help.He can help us accomplish stuff.He can help us achieve our goals.
1) This is saying that success comes from within. You have to be satisfied with your own success to be successful.

3) I can apply this to my life by basically comparing it to myself and me knowing that not everyone will agree with me or approve but if i feel as if i was successful and I'm satisfied with myself and my success than i have won.

If you put effort into becoming the best at what you do , don't feel down because you feel someone does something better than you , just realize that you put your all into it and that's all that matters.
- This quote matters because knowing that you gave your all is the key to becoming successful. As long as you know that you did everything that you could possibly do , (meaning you gave your best) , is what really matters.
It says that we will learn on what it takes to be a success.What this means is to always be prepared and learn on careers. So we can be prepared for our future. It matters to me so I can be focused. This can apply to my life because I wont be lost because if I am not prepared I can end up with a job I don't like. This to me is help I can get to be successful. So wasting my time not focusing is like the money I'm losing in my job. So i should have my plans for the future.

in my life seeing as challenging as anyone else's i strive for success. success in school and in my relationships with those people around me who i think matter. it really doesn't take much considering that there are people who are helping me do just that. i'm trying to fix things that are crucial to me at the moment and every day i try to stay positive. things seem really difficult and unreachable yet if i put my effort in it, i know my time won't be wasted in vain.
